aims to promote films and studies created for cinema that honor Maya Culture and all their Contemporary Ancient Cultures in that era, as well as all genres works of cinema suitable for our venues.
The Festival is an Independent Organization not in association with any local or any Government organization in Mexico. The Festival is an organization of Independent Artist with the mission to Promote, Honor, Respect the mayan culture. The Festival or and its members have no Political, No Government and No Ideological Preference towards the organization and the establishment of the Film Festival.

As a First Year Edition, The Festival does not provide the following.
- No Hospitality or Transportation
- No Economic Awards
